Re: New forum

Welcome on another side friends!

With the new forum we will have two changes in our routines:

1) +1's, +100 etc. posts should now be deleted (no need to move them to HT, but please contact the poster, explain why the post got deleted and ask them to elaborate on it. The contact template is coming right up).
2) All signatures that don't align with the official guidelines should be moderated - first we contact members and ask them to adjust it politely. If they don't respond, let me know.

Thank you!

I love the notifications too! Super great feature. I also love that you can jump to another forum directly from the topic.

But the size restrictions will now be monitored by the forum itself, so we will only have to care for content of the signatures - right?

The image size restrictions - yes. However, there is no setting for how many images are allowed :(

I've already sent a bunch of private messages asking people to remove one or more images from their signature. I've also messaged people who are using the spoiler tag to get around the limit, i.e. placing images inside the spoiler tag and outside. In my opinion this is still a violation and I've asked one member to remove one already.

In the old forum, unread posts could easily be recognized by some orange color in the header. This way it was easy to find the first unread post in a thread. There's nothing like this in the new forum? (I know there's still an option to go to the "First unread post" directly)

EDIT: I found it, the small paper sheet icon is orange for a new post.

I'm on my mobile right now at work and trying to look at the moderation queue so I can do things so I don't fall behind, but I can't find the moderation queue link and it's hard to spend a lot of time doing it because dogs will bite me if I'm not paying attention. Please assist.
Am I doing a good job? I thrive on feedback! Please PM me, or my bosses Alena Rybik or Tod1d with comments, criticisms, or accolades!
