sry but I do not understand the calculation,
I thought you need a high score in the male, and a low weight in the female Score male - weight female
in the leader board, you get more points for heavy females, although the difference then has to be lower

At first view , i have to agree with OldSnake .
Let's take your score BCKidd for example : 699.286 - 160.814 = 538.472
Unless there is something we are missing .
Could you have it explain to us then , if it's not what i shown ?

Before the bonus i remember was the highest score male + highest weight female, but now from what i understand you have to get a high score male and then the lightest female possible because the weight of the female will be subtracted to the score of the male.
like: male score:1000
female weight: 200
leaderborard score: 800
like: male score:1000
female weight: 200
leaderborard score: 800

Just about to do my 1st hunt & was reviewing the rules when a question popped in my mind. Just to verify, the female score will be subtracted from the males score correct?BCKidd wrote: Scoring **: The combined trophy score of the Male (-) weight of the Female

Yep- that is how it is female weight subtracted from the trophy score of males. Yes, there is an issue with the LB- it isn't scoring correctly. After my hunt and submission last night- I Pm'd Tod and Cal. Tod I know is on a irl bear hunt. But will be checking his PM's- hopefully he or Cal will look into this. But to confirm once more it is the female weight subtracted from male trophy score of all animals. Sorry for the inconvenience folks, the issue will be corrected. Peace.

That depends on what round a competitor wants to win. The lower your score the better your chances are that you would be able to move on to next round. Whoever has the highest score in round 1 wins- and can't move to the next round and so on. That is the same with each round, so you need to calculate how you want to go about your hunts. Total scores from 1 are added to 2 and so on, until the final round when all scores are combined. Except of course for the first round winner, as they won't get to carry on through the following rounds. So, be careful on what you submit if you want to win more than 500EM$. Peace.VonStratos wrote:Before the bonus i remember was the highest score male + highest weight female, but now from what i understand you have to get a high score male and then the lightest female possible because the weight of the female will be subtracted to the score of the male.

BCKidd.
EDIT: I should also point out that if you do not submit anything in round 1 you will not be able to move onto other rounds- Participation is required in all rounds. Even with the messed up scoring as it is now, you still need to submit a hunt before round 1 ends. Just keep in mind what your goal is and what round you want to win. The math is up to you... Peace.

Ok BCKidd, but a question, what will happen with the submitted hunts before Todd can fix the leaderboard? will they still count and get right score in the leaderboard or is better to await for Todd fix the leaderboard before submit hunts?
