I like lipstick and moustache - hey, that sounds a bit like a Jim Jarmusch movie.HooCairs wrote:Nice roe deer Tann, but why are you wearing lipstick?

Re: Trophy of the Week Contest
I actually wanted to find out more about the "Zoom lag/ rigid binos" bug and shoot a few Ibex in the meantime.
All of a sudden I saw a massive set of antlers running off and the trusty Bullpup managed to down him with a single lung shot at a distance of 241m/ 792ft.
Sorry for the photo, but one cannot quite influence the weather yet.

Re: Trophy of the Week Contest
This is my 2nd 70+ turkey in 7 days.
This one scored 70.269. The one from a week ago scored 70.663 and is currently in 2nd place on the leaderboard.
What is considered a trophy for trophy of the week?
There have only been 16 70+ turkeys taken this season.
My submitted 70.663 turkey from last week lost out to an 11+ Lynx. In just over a week there have been 26 11+ lynx taken.
If I didn't already have a better one, this turkey (70,269) would be in 8th place on the leaderboard.
Also a few months back I had a 400+ Rosevelt Elk lose out to one of the new animals that now would not be considered a trophy.
My wish is, if they are going to continue this contest that they would consider everything when choosing an animal and not what just looks good for EW.

They have stated before that its not just score that goes into their decision of what wins. I would imagine they are looking at the quality of the screenshot as well as any agenda/theme currently active (new animal release).Bluejay wrote: My wish is, if they are going to continue this contest that they would consider everything when choosing an animal and not what just looks good for EW.

Then maybe they should call it "Harvest of the week"SoftShoe wrote:They have stated before that its not just score that goes into their decision of what wins. I guess everyone has a different idea of what a trophy is, mine would be anything that made the top 5 or maybe top 10 on the leaderboard in a season that had been running for 3 to 6 months.
