Re: Share your Non-Typicals!
Be curious to know as well. I shot a pretty small blacktail earlier tonight I thought was NT when I shot it and it showed as typical as well. It was less than 1/2 the score of yours. I convinced myself it was just really small with a big drop tine.matts1 wrote:Blacktail Deer (Non-Typical)

View the scoresheet here.
It is small but it is my first Blacktail Non-Typical.. I wonder why the scoresheet says Typical though...

Re: Share your Non-Typicals!
I thought mine was at first because the tines were crossed but then looked at the scoresheet and was disappointed but then looked at the gallery and it said NT. So then I put the scoresheet through the checker and it said NT...sooo Yeah..Shaggymobilly wrote: Be curious to know as well. Non-typical deer don't register on the hunt statistics, but they always register in your lifetime stats. And they register on the B&C Score Sheet. See below.
This surely was a NT WT deer.

Re: Share your Non-Typicals!
Matt's is indeed a NT, however yours is not. It is just a really small typical mule deer (not blacktail ) with a big drop tine. Stan is correct, a non-typical will often show up as a typical at first but will eventually diplay as NT on the scoresheet and in lifetime stats. Since yours hasn't changed and the drop tine is accounted for on the abnormal points block of the scoresheet, you can assume it's just a typical.

Loving all the Trophies posted here so far, congrats everyone!
138.858 Non-Typical Whitetail:
Heres my dinky little Buck, managed to get him at the Middle Tower in Logger's Point, (This spot almost never fails to impress me ).
Still waiting to find a Non-Typ Whitetail that'll break 200+, just gotta be patient.
