Re: Status Update - 21st May 2018
Nice SU indeed, thanks.
But it leaves me wondering about extending render distance: Was it really necessary in the past to tell us it is not possible, when it actually was?
MP deployables is actually good for me since I stopped buying membership and now I can enjoy my stuff on MP anyway thanks

Re: Status Update - 21st May 2018
Nice update, thank you!
I'm happy with the way scene complexity and render distance is paired up, neat solution EW!
I'm def. buying the new toys, but I hope you'll include a range finder in the spotting scope.
But about the possibility to bring your own big equipment into MP games, may I ask that you PLEASE don't include tents to this feature?
It's begging to be abused in MP comps. (everyone searches the map until a trophy is found, places tent and let the competitioner FT to it - see my point?)

I didn't made my guess on improved rendering distance as I thought it wasn't possible whats however. Being wrong makes me very happy this time, thanks for 100 bonus meters

I agree,What good is a new spotting scope without a rangefinder on it..makes no sense to have just a new spotting scope and no way of actually spotting the range,so I really hope as well that it does,

Simple said: Awesome!
Best update since a long time. Was hoping for increased render distance since i play this game.
Is the level of detail also increased with the new render distance? With 220m the lod f.e. of trees is often very low at 70m+ range

A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one!
I was hoping for an increased render distance but I really did not expect this due to how diffiult the implementation is. I expected the new feature to be something completely different (and less exciting). Hats off to EW and thank you for this nice and surprising status update, TreeKiwi!

Re: Status Update - 21st May 2018
Finally, one of the biggest suggestions is coming to theHunter!
Thanks, EW.
But, I have some questions:
1- So, our old spotting scope is going to be useless after the update?! Because going with 16x scope to EHR and couldn't be able to spot animals at +220m is not so good! (Same for our sights for rifles!)
2- Right now I play on High scene complexity with a reasonable FPS. Can I still play on High after the update? Or I have to lower that down to Medium?
Thanks, EW.
