I hope its not a bird. Enough birds out there for the next years.
Each time a new bird species is added, the spawnnumbers other species in the same reserve seems to be decreased. Dont know it exact, but still have this feeling..

I agree that it looks like quail feathers most likely. Maybe they will release a pointer dog with it? That woukd be cool.

They told us its a bird, but not if a waterfowling bird or a "normal" bird, and in Piccabeen Bay you can hear ducks or something similar, so maybe they are introducing waterfowl there, if not i hope it be some kind of large bird like pheasant, we already have 3 kind of little ptarmigans and they are kind a pain to look for them to hunt them.

I agree, plus ptarmigans have never been a great success.\m/ wrote:Enough birds out there for the next years.
I have that feeling too.\m/ wrote:Each time a new bird species is added, the spawnnumbers other species in the same reserve seems to be decreased.

True that, ptarmigans could be more appealing if there were missions and competitions, but more than that a locator like the one for pheasants, its sometimes more a pain than joy look for those little birds, regarding to the last part, i don't know if that its really true or just a matter of perception, since we don't have the numbers it would remain in the realm of mystery i guess, but i think it will depend on what reserve the new bird will be, Bushranger could use some birds by example, but place them in Whitehart and it gonna feel really overpopulated imho.
