pulsar bow level up

I had the black pulsar bow and did 1000 harvests with it so I thought I would buy the camo version and keep levelling up with it but I see that it does not level up it counts as the black bow anyother found this ???

That's intentional - same rank, same weapon skill. Only the 'old' achievements are separate for the different reskins.
