The Long Dark

Post by MooseHunter330 »

Sorry if this is a duplicate post. If it is, please delete or move.
The Long Dark has quickly become one of my favourite games, because of it's North Canada setting and survival gameplay.
I'd recommend it to anyone, who likes walking around in Whiterime ridge, but wants a solid framerate

I made a little hunting montage of the game:
Spends all the gold and money to buy new weapons in the shape of guns.

Actually the game doesn't quite excel in the frame rate department, Google: Long Dark frame rate

it is single player, beat AI is easy, beat human intelligent that is more challengging, try hurtworld this is survival game .the challenge is you have to beat other player in surviving in harsh world. playing agains AI isnt challenging at all.it's just programm with flowchat procedure.

The endgame in The Long Dark is the the real challenge.
When you have no man-produced goods.
The AI is also not the only problem. The weather is a challenging opponent, too.

Looks a lot of fun, despite the frame rate issues, reminds me a bit of The Revenant, which is no bad thing at all.

There even is a scenario, in which you have to survive after almost being mauled to death.

Exactly. Basically like the revenant. I can make a video looking into it, if you want.

I love Jack London books! I also like Will Hobbs, I will probably have this game by next October.
