My tribute to the dying game...

[Colin Walker]

It was 2016 and a on off love affair started.

I had just built my first PC using the fx 8350, to replace my ageing 1 core laptop, I installed STEAM and the first thing I look for was a hunting game,
I came across a game called TheHunter, it was installed straight away, I ran around that starting map like a headless chicken, not knowing what to do,
shooting anything that moved, not knowing how to claim your harvest, I got to know Doc very well, screaming at me all the time in my first week of
game play, I found some info on the game from a friend who had played for many years ( he kept that one quite lol ), armed with this info I purchased my first 3000 ems on 18th
April 2016 and I was hooked, yes there were times away from playing but I always came back to play, in 2017 I came across UHCapps, this gave me more
to play for hunting against people I did not know at the time, It wasn't till 2018 when I came across the forum but most of the peeps I had been
competing with were already here, then UHC closed down and I took long break away from this game, I came back new years day 2025, to hunt with
those same people who are all my friends, even the ones I had fall outs with, I will always have fond memories for me to look back on and some vids.

I will never be playing any other hunting game.

We can all hope that - once again - the reports of Classic's upcoming demise are to be proven wrong...
