I believe that's why they decided to not add achievements for any of the new weapons going forward, because folks wouldn't be able to get all of the achievements unless they bought and earned every gun and skin which is unrealistic. But this is in reference to ranks/hunterscore. Currently, all iterations of a single weapon (regardless of skin) count towards the rank for that weapon. At least, that's how it was before this new bug/decision. The issue with this is that people are rightfully buying/earning certain weapon skins but then realizing their harvests are not counting towards ranks/hunterscore at all.BCKidd wrote: ↑May 6th, 2026, 11:30 am I always thought they were not ranked up due to the fact that not everyone would/could buy them. It's kind of like the pay to win type adage, ain't it? I personally don't care myself, but, those who can't afford the new skins would lose out- and those who do, their Ranks would grow. I'm probably wrong, but, it is a disadvantage to the less fortunate who do not have the means in buying every godforsaken skin- or for that matter even want to. Got to admit some of them look like ones Elmer Fudd would use- cartoonish in other words.![]()

BCKidd.
In other words, there's no reason why the black and winter camo .300s should increase your .300 rank, but the pink .300 shouldn't. If the pink one is the only one you have, and that's because you earned it instead of buying one of the other two colors, the harvests with it should count just the same as with the others. It doesn't need to have its own achievement, which it doesn't. But the kills should still count as .300 kills.
Hopefully that makes sense? I feel like I was talking to a circle there
