I hope so. Would hate to see flyers on RFFs. :!:

Talking about new species coming to the game, certainly, isn't like it used to be. I don't know if it is a good thing or a bad thing- but, it certainly is a thing. ;)

Considering the code that this game was programed with, and how incredibly different it is from modern games, and also how many different people and teams have had thier fingers in the code over all these years, it's amazing that it still runs at all!

I'm looking forward to seeing how well the new upgrade will work. I'm sure it will make a big difference. Plus, perhaps maybe new programers won't have to learn some obsolete language in order to work on the game?

A lot of us here would remember the big Y2K Scare, when places had to find and hire retired programmers to come in and "fix" the old code so the world didn't come to a crashing halt as time went on? Think of it that way; we don't want Classic to come crashing to a halt, either! :D

Yes, I agree. I hope the new upgrad gives theHunter Classic a new lease on life. It is actually exciting to see what will come of the game, when all new upgrades have been implemented. :D

From what I've come to understand through a few short conversations with staff is that the upgrade is about keeping the game alive in the long run.

According to the wisdom on the internet, the only place we have in the game might be Hirschfelden. In North America they rarely exist.

Map from Wikipedia:

I wouldn't mind using the existing blinds in Hirschfelden. Add decoys and duck caller. The duck caller mix in Rougarou is already complex enough. :D

Hunting ducks and geese out of the same blind sounds like fun.

Hey, Hoo, good to see you. Hirsch works for me too, and that keeps RFF safe from a duck invasion. ;)
