Considering the code that this game was programed with, and how incredibly different it is from modern games, and also how many different people and teams have had thier fingers in the code over all these years, it's amazing that it still runs at all!
I'm looking forward to seeing how well the new upgrade will work. I'm sure it will make a big difference. Plus, perhaps maybe new programers won't have to learn some obsolete language in order to work on the game?
A lot of us here would remember the big Y2K Scare, when places had to find and hire retired programmers to come in and "fix" the old code so the world didn't come to a crashing halt as time went on? Think of it that way; we don't want Classic to come crashing to a halt, either!
