A message from Sanjah
The following announcement has been made by the producer of theHunter: Classic (Sanjah)
Howdy Hunters,
We’ve seen your recent messages and feedback, and we really appreciate how engaged and honest the community has been. We want to share a quick update on what’s currently happening behind the scenes.
Right now, our main focus is on completing the major backend upgrade. This step is absolutely critical for the future of the game - without it, the game eventually will stop running on modern hardware (some of you have noticed issues already) and we wouldn’t be able to continue delivering updates, fixes, or new content. In other words, this is a necessary foundation that will allow the game to keep growing and improving in the long term.
Our developers have already done a huge amount of work and are essentially rebuilding the backend from the ground up. As you can imagine with Classic, it’s a complex and time-consuming process, but it’s something we must finish to ensure stability and to unlock future development.
Because of this, progress may feel slower from the outside, and we understand that this can be frustrating. Please know that the team is working hard every day to move this forward as quickly and safely as possible.
In the meantime, we’re still planning to run activities, using systems that are already stable. This allows us to keep things happening in-game while the larger technical work continues - stay tuned for more.
Your support and patience during this stage are incredibly important to us. This transition period is one of the most challenging but also one of the most important phases in the game’s life cycle. Once it’s complete, it will give us much more flexibility to fix issues faster and deliver the content you’ve been waiting for.
Thank you for sticking with us and continuing to share your thoughts - it genuinely helps us make better decisions and keep the game moving in the right direction.

Thank you very much for all your hard work. I appreciate that you are trying to improve and further develop the game, especially given it's age. If your work leads to more content I will be doubly thankful, because this game is like my home, and any improvements and/or additions will be warmly welcomed. Thank you.
And thanks for this update. It's comforting to know that the game still has a future. Keep going, and I hope you are being properly rewarded for your diligence and fortitude, even if that is mostly from the deep satisfaction of a job well done and from the knowledge and experience you are gathering and storing away for future projects. Good job folks. Thanks again.
