7x64 Rifle shot not counted to Bull-y Roe Deer competition
As title says, I shot a male Roe deer with 7x64 rifle and it wasn't counted to Bull-y competition. Rules say any 7mm Rifle so 7x64 should be included.

Bumping this up since this issue is still present. Shot yet another male Roe deer with 7x64 rifle and it was not counted for the competition.

The 7x64 rifle takes 7x64 ammo, not 7mm ammoRugged_Randy wrote: ↑December 20th, 2025, 6:51 am Bumping this up since this issue is still present. Shot yet another male Roe deer with 7x64 rifle and it was not counted for the competition.

That 7 in 7x64 marks the bullet diameter in millimeters and 64 marks case lenght in millimeters. It has same diameter bullet as 7mm rem mag and 7mm-08 win. So yes, it is a 7mm ammo.splainin2do wrote: ↑March 17th, 2026, 2:37 pmThe 7x64 rifle takes 7x64 ammo, not 7mm ammoRugged_Randy wrote: ↑December 20th, 2025, 6:51 am Bumping this up since this issue is still present. Yes, I always thought the 7mm-08 should work for those comps too, but, alas, they do not. It shouldn't be that way, and when it says 7mm ammo, one would assume all 7mm ammo should be acceptible. But, it applies only to the 7mm Magnum Break Action Rifle- Stambecco & 7mm Magnum Bullpup Rifle- Raptor, I think. I haven't tried the comps with the 7mm-08 tho', does that ammo work?Rugged_Randy wrote: ↑March 21st, 2026, 4:34 amThat 7 in 7x64 marks the bullet diameter in millimeters and 64 marks case lenght in millimeters.
