Re: Midsummers Day 2025
Good to hear it all worked out for you in the end muldo!
Which reminds me: thank you Hoocairs for your helpful 2 deer in one video from Rougarou bayou!
Never ever figured out how to do that one, because I thought it had to be much closer then 25-30m.
Got that objectiv sortet thanks to it!

I actually took mine from the back. He was walking away from me, so when he paused for a moment, it was a nice clean angle.

Re: Midsummers Day 2025
Mission completed!
As expected, the two deer with one shot was the last open requirement. I'll never understand, who likes this. It is just boring to call in deer from a treestand and fast travel to a tent nearby. If you are lucky they will stand in a good position and the shot will be deadly. I would really prefer mission topics that require skill instead of luck!
That is just my opinion and I really appreciate any kind of events! Thanks to the Dev Team!

Alternatively, just use the scent lures. You get 50 uses out of one bottle, do you can use extras in the future or for other missions.i confirm there's deer in the area, then I spray 2-3 times in the same spot about 30m from a treestand. The deer come, each spray keeps them standing there for approximately 20 seconds (multiple sprays stack, so three sprays will make them stand still for 60 seconds or more). They usually pile up on the scent. 30m gives buckshot just enough distance to spread out. The 10ga specifically is super deadly with the strategy.
It's about as boring as waiting for anything else to come to a stand. But doing that strategy above, I usually always get it done on the first try so it never takes too long. I know you're done already, but maybe someone else can use this tip!

Oh yes, it absolutely does. Feel free to test it out. Spray a scent spray in three totally different spots a couple meters away from each other. The deer will stop at the first one for about 10 to 15 seconds or however long it is they stand there, then they will move to the next scent spray spot and stand there for 10 to 15 seconds, then they will move to the third one and stand there for 10 to 15 seconds.BuiuRei wrote: ↑June 21st, 2025, 4:15 pmFor me too!Villkatta wrote: ↑June 21st, 2025, 2:37 pmScent stacks? Then, go spray the scent spray three times in a single spot (don't move AT ALL between sprays) then watch and see how long they stand there in that exact spot. Using that method, it's easy to make a deer stand in a single spot for a minute or more. That gives them just enough time to pile up on that one spot, simplifying multi-kills.
Keep in mind that the scent sprays do have a timer though of 10 minutes real time. If it takes 9 real minutes for the deer to even get close to the scent spray, the subsequent sprays could wear off before the deer ever has a chance to go to them. So it really works best when you already have deer within about 150m of you (This applies to all species that have scent sprays, not just deer).
