Story:
Once again, some of your fellow competitors have donated back some or all of their winnings from the AntlerMetrics competitions held thus far so that they could share the fun with those players who don't win as much or as often– the infamous underdogs! Note-- This competition is exclusively for our forum competitors, no outsiders allowed in this one!

Welcome to this AntlerMetrics Invitational!
Prizes:
There is a prize pool of EM$ that have been donated to the Invitational so far this year. We won't be disclosing just how much is in that pool until the end of the competition. What is important to know is that everyone on the invitee list that gets a full score will win an EM$ prize. Just how many EM$ you get will be determined by your placement in the comp, so you still want to do your best! The top four players will also receive trophies as usual.
Bonus Prize:
Find any Sambar Antler Shed - 500 em$ + Trophy
Any sambar deer antler shed found during an attempt for this invitational, whether it's a single or double and regardless of score, will win a bonus prize of 500em$. Players can win multiple 500em$ prizes for finding and submitting multiple sambar sheds. Each player that submits at least one sambar deer antler shed will also earn a bonus prize trophy (limit one trophy per player, regardless of number of sheds found). To submit your antler shed/s, simply submit the scoresheet for the antler the same way you would an animal. Please note that this is simply a bonus mini-competition and that your antler shed will have no impact on your main competition score.

Competition Rules:
- Species: Sambar Deer
- Gender: Male
- Reserves: Picabeen Bay
- Weapons: Any Firearm (No bows or crossbows)
- Shot Placement: Heart and/or One Lung Must Be Hit
- Attempts: 5
- Tie-Breaker: Highest Scoring Sambar Deer in Final Submission Wins
- Game Mode: Singleplayer Only
- Submitted animals must die from a single shot.
- Submitted animals must be harvested within the first 5 hours real time of an attempt. Includes pauses.
- Weapon and shot placement rules only apply to animals you wish to submit, other animals may be harvested by any means
- You need to have a full submission (6 deer) for your score or antler bonus to count.
- You do not need to harvest all animals in a single attempt.
- You can make improvements to your score with each attempt. You may not re-use animals from a previous attempt.
- Hunts must be submitted within 90 minutes after completing the hunt.
- Hunts must start after the competition starts, and end before the competition ends to be valid.
Scoring:
You must submit 6 male sambar deer for a score. You can replace previously submitted deer to improve your score with subsequent attempts. For this competition, we will be scoring the deer based on their Length of Main Beams. You will subtract the length of the shorter antler from the longer antler. The difference is your score for that deer. The highest total difference for all submitted deer wins. Be sure to use the data directly from your animal's B&C scoresheet, not from the hunt history page. You can find the main beam lengths for each deer on it's scoresheet here:

For this example deer, the right antler is longer than the left antler. It's score would be Right Antler Length (26.1811) - Left Antler Length (26.0630) = 0.1181
How Attempts Work:
Any singleplayer hunt launched on the competition map after the start time of this competition will count as an attempt.
Hunts that are less than 5 minutes in length with no distance traveled and no animals spotted do not count towards your attempt limit (this allows for disconnections).
Multiplayer hunts on competition reserves must have at least one animal harvested or it will count as a Singleplayer hunt. Multiplayer hunts do not count towards your attempt limit.

We reserve the right to disqualify any participant at our discretion for any reason, including but not limited to: cheating, unsportsmanlike conduct, harassment, spawn-mashing, et. al. Discrepancies & ambiguities in the rules or scoring will be addressed by the competition hosts as expediently as possible.
