Been hunting hard for about two weeks now, and man it's good to play again!
So many cool new things to hunt, and changes to adapt to.
Went after pumas early on, and already on my sixth cat I knew I had something big.
It spooked ALL. THE. TIME. (Just like huge lynx & bobcats do).
Long story made short: I crawled after the cursed thing for about an irl hour until I got close enough to use scent on it.
Score: 15.8112
Not same hunt, but a new 180+ bighorn for the lodge:
Score: 185.1182
Also went after the two new deer species in BRR & HF. No luck with the fallow deer yet, but got this handsome axis buck last night:
Score: 202.9921
Then I had something completely new happen to me during an MP game just now. Killed 2 huge hogs right after each other.
Saw the first one from a hill, and the other by the lake as I ran up to harvest the first. Such random luck!
Huge cred & hat tip to the host, (Luckyluke - something?) who really needed to go, but patiently waited until I killed the second hog, and harvested both.
Score: 1099.2870

A bit of the ol' "returning player's luck" I guess
