Re: theHunter: Classic Official Stream
The only problem joining up with the streams is that all the hot spots are given away, so there is no adventure to finding them yourself. You simply watch and it is all revealed to you. That is probably one of the reasons I myself refrain from joining up. Maybe I'm wrong and I hope that I am. But it would seem that the streams are simple means of taking away the fun from the abundance discoveries one should find on their own. Of course this is only my oppinion.

Nah, not at all! TK tries, but I'm guessing at least half of us that tune in are more skilled Classic players than he is at this point! We have fun teasing him a bit at times (I know I do, at least), and we do all enjoy the guessing games. There are newbies and newer players joining the conversation, and we all chip in with help and answers. Sometimes the stream is a little multiplayer comp, and some of us get to join. We DO all appreciate any official news that he is given to share, and just generally have a nice time for an hour together.BCKidd wrote: ↑February 2nd, 2025, 1:55 pm The only problem joining up with the streams is that all the hot spots are given away, so there is no adventure to finding them yourself. One thing that may have put you off before was the timing of the stream - too early for your time zone! More recently, the times have been at noon or 1PM my time, so now at 9 or 10AM your time. It's more difficult for me to join now if I have to run errands during my lunch break, but I still try to pop in and at least say hi to everyone.

I agree with you, it spoils the fun of searching and discovering, spoils the whole thing! I tried it once!BCKidd wrote: ↑February 2nd, 2025, 1:55 pm The only problem joining up with the streams is that all the hot spots are given away, so there is no adventure to finding them yourself. Yep, I don't think we're the only ones that feel that way either. It totally does take away the fun in discovering these things on our own. So, yeah, I am not an advocate for the Twitch Streams.calamar2000 wrote: ↑March 13th, 2025, 10:20 amI agree with you, it spoils the fun of searching and discovering, spoils the whole thing! Re: theHunter: Classic Official Stream
Any time I don't get to watch the stream, I'm a bit sad. It's great to hear news about upcoming events and game updates, whether it's the whole story or just a few hints. There's a community there as well, so it's nice to say hello to others, as well as to help answer questions that newer players ask. It's great to see new players getting involved with the game! I've gotten much better about guessing the scores of animals because of the guessing games (with em$ prizes!), and it's also where I learned how to *correctly* use scent sprays. Things I've earned and learned from participating in the stream have absolutely made the game even more enjoyable to me.
