Re: Post your Albino/Piebald/Melanistic!
Here's a weird one that I miiiiiiight be the only one to ever do, anyone ever shot back to back albino red foxes?
If you know you know, these things are rare most die-hard fox hunters have none Ogruls and Arillamente have over 7000~ combined harvests and neither have any too my understanding Both of them have 32+ scoring silvertip foxes, what Is well into super rare catigory for them before an albino. (Too put it into perspective)
Effectively I rolled a 1/8000 chance, twice in less than 10 foxes, what are the odds of that?
Its weird, I shot the first one and obviously from that point forward to friends I kept saying "I'm going to go shoot another one...." my reaction when the second one came trotting in was priceless!

Re: Post your Albino/Piebald/Melanistic!
Nice pictures folks!! Some incredible trophies!!!
This is only my third Silver Tipped Fox in 13-1/2 years of playing and over 2250 harvests. I hit her 3 times with the Scout rifle at 75, 90, and 107 meters, including the first one which should have been instantly lethal, and she still went over 500 meters. She was roaming and defecating for the last 100 meters when I finally found her in a field across the river (which took twenty-five real minutes.) She only scored 23.9224 but I didn't care, I was never going to give up searching. I was worried she had become a zombie dog like coyotes sometimes do, and I would never get the harvest. In reality, she would never have survived the first shot, not a chance. It's always the ones you want most, isn't it? Why is that?

Weird that she tanked those shots the 7mm-08 I usually dont find issues with (unless Its a very long intestine shot) I would say for sure you got the zombie bug but I've never seen it happen on anything besides like the .17 intestine shots on bobcats/coyotes.
4333 Male Bald Leucistic I gave to Dipthirty - Crazy that you can spend eons grinding for something you finally shoot it then months later during a random hunt your not overly fussed about rares (just enjoying hunting geese) and another one shows...... regardless It was a SUPER big male almost 1500 lower scoring than my female.
