Same here. I have my hunt history open on my desktop while I'm playing on my laptop. I don't exit the harvest screen until it shows up in my hunt history. I've waited as long as 10 minutes doing that (rarely), and I've never lost an animal since I started doing it.splainin2do wrote: ↑January 4th, 2025, 11:03 am It does seem like some are having more problems with this than others. I only occasionally run into a "spinning" no-score. Most often when I do, I'll visit the hunt's website (usually through my cell phone so I can see both screens at the same time). I'll refresh the page until I see that animal appear, which can happen before the score calculates in the game.
For any animal I've done that with, I've never "lost" it.

I'm gonna give this a try. I wish the "last hunt" page would also give you the GM$ earned for each kill listed.

Animal scoring doesn't work anymore, in addition you lose ammo and animals along with the will to keep playing this game.

Re: Animals not scoring
Well I spoke too soon. I lost a Sambar today after waiting 25 minutes before exiting the harvest screen. The server error was bad enough I had to log in again when I refreshed my hunt history on my desktop. I tried taking a trophy shot to see if that would force it but nope. It just shows no score. I love it when Doc sends you an email for not harvesting an animal lost that way.Bonedigger777 wrote: ↑January 4th, 2025, 12:49 pm

Re: Animals not scoring
Usually i have the game and launcher in my main display screen and a browser with the store or current hunt page opened and some other things on the second screen, when the spinning is bad it doesn't matter, longest i waited was easily 25mn, went to do some things in the house, came back and nothing in the launcher or the website.
Trying to take a trophy shot worked a couple of times but also didn't worked a few times.... When it goes bad it goes bad... The game probably doesn't have a " good reception protocol " in place, when a packet sent with the infos is lost, it's lost... it most probably doesn't send the info more than once and might increase the load on the servers way too much anyways.

In addition to a flow of new bugs, Is it possible that no one has yet noticed that weapons do much less damage, after the latest big update?

Re: Animals not scoring
Have not played much with rifles lately, not playing much at all since the event in fact due to all issues but the bears in particular seems to have issues,
countless tracks of blood with intestines reported, all close to each others indicating a fast bleeding, after let's say 20 or so tracks like this the bear just stops to bleed and never dies unless you shoot it a second time, like it recovered from the wound... Some weird things with moose too, using the .300 or 9.3x74 at distances where it should be a very fast death and double lungs often, either it result in single lung or they run away forever while having deadly wounds... Not sure if it's the same thing you talk about but there is some really strange things going on for sure.
Happened more than just a few times while doing the event, never seen so much tracks of intestine blood and a bear not dead shortly after, here it seems to restore health or something, gave up on tracking more than once for some bears shot, I'm not sure if it's the weapons that have issues or the damage models of animals, bows like snakebite and parker python seems to have no problems, like i said i didn't played much since the event, waiting for the roe deer event rewards and bug fixes before going again virtual hunting, there is way too much issues to enjoy the game right now.

Re: Animals not scoring
The problems seem to affect some rifles and animals, mule deer, wolves, bears and maybe others. In addition to the loss of the effectiveness of weapons, lately I've noticed another weird thing. Sounds like the trajectory of the bullets of some rifles such as the .30 R O/U Break Action Rifle has changed in unnatural way. Previously, beyond 200m you had to adjust your aim because the bullet travelling downwards, now it goes straight. Yesterday I shot a fallow deer a 230 metri without considering the bullet downwards traiectory, and it hit the animal with straignt precise traiectory. So I'm used to aim in a certain way, now I'm just getting a lot of shooting errors due to this change. Now it roughly recalls the 0.22 traiectoryK4n4y wrote: ↑January 12th, 2025, 6:57 am Have not played much with rifles lately, not playing much at all since the event in fact due to all issues but the bears in particular seems to have issues,

Re: Animals not scoring
The first max score (240-260 est) Sambar stag to come in after more than two months, and I got the spinning wheel of death in the harvest screen. I waited half an hour in the harvest screen for him to show up in my hunt history with no luck before I exited to the trophy shot. Of course, the trophy shot shows no score. And of course, it didn't count for the comp with no score. I think I'm done with this nonsense.
