Probably no one has heard of this Japanese punk band. I have to share this song as this would fit right in with a 'Bison Competition'. Yes it's weird to see great punk music set to strange lyrics about Bison. This Japanese all girl punk band were interesting and weird like that. They give you catchy songs with lyrics about unusual things you don't usually hear in songs.
It's about Bison. That's why I'm sharing.

I smile every time I hear that lyric in the chorus, "He's on his way to extinction". It's so adorable the way the Japanese pronounce English words. The part where she says, "Extink-ooh-shahn" always makes me smile because of the Japanese pronunciation of English. Secondly, it's also not just Japanese pronunciation. It's still perfectly within standard vocal syllable form. It's just that no one ever sings these kind of words in songs usually. It rocks. It's cute. The lyrics are unconventional. But they don't seem to have a problem copying music sounds from the western punk and rock n roll music culture. They did it extensively throughout their music career. It works. And we love Shonen Knife.
