Will there be the new map?

There hasn’t been a new map added since 2017 and it used to be that they would add one every one or two years. If anyone knows, are the devs done with making new maps? If so, I don’t want to waste time suggesting a new map.

I'd be surprised to see a new map. The team is pretty small now and a new map is a big project.

I am wondering.......nothing happens because of a new map! Just wondering........Other hunting games r evolving with new maps, like CotW, or Way of the Hunter, but the there is nothing happening in theHunterClassic since years. WHY?

Because of the age of the game and the coding that is needed. You might be playing the Halloween Event right now - and as you see, hear or experience some of the issues that people have mentioned, it should let you know how difficult the coding is to get correct.

As I understand it, this game was invented before the way games are made now, where items can just be "dropped in" and added. In Classic, the items have to all be coded in individually. With that, they also have to be made to work seamlessly with the previous code so nothing else breaks because of the new addition. Not an easy task! I applaud the team that works so hard to keep the game working at all, never mind even adding new features and bug fixes.
