Colored Scarfs For Player (Like Dog Scarf)
I'd like to see 'colored scarfs' for the player, just like the dog scarfs, added as a new clothing accessory. I've been wanting to match a scarf like this with the coyboy hat, or basic hat (outback), to twitch up my player look.

I personally would love to see some more clothing being added to Doc's Outfitters & Shop. I created a Post/Thread not too long ago about some new clothing suggestions as well. You could check it out here: https://forum.thehunter.com/viewtopic.p ... 6#p1063016 if you'd like.

How about you remove that thing you just did because that was rude.

I didn't see anything rude. Explain what you meant.

If I have offended you in anyway - I do apologise. I am not sure what I have said that counts as ''rude''? I wanted to share an earlier suggestion regarding new clothing for theHunter: Classic. I thought you might be interested in checking it out, since you like to see new clothing in theHunter: Classic as well, just as me. I wanted to be helpful.InvisibleFlame9 wrote: ↑September 9th, 2024, 10:13 amWow! Some of you guys have an interesting style of forum etiquette. Tom, I know you're trying to be helpful and mean well. It's not the sharing of links to another post. It's "how" you did so without contributing anything constructive or positive to my post. Also, what purpose does said link serve this thread? It would be one thing if it was an idea that had a close similarity and it added to the topic at hand.ItIsTom wrote: ↑September 9th, 2024, 1:09 pmIf I have offended you in anyway - I do apologise. This is not the first time issues like this have come up on the forum. Personally, if I comment on anyone's thread, I like to contribute something to that thread or achkowledge and validate the author of that post in some way, even if I don't fully agree with them in all ways, because that is how I would like to be treated. Not withstanding the fact that people aren't perfect...heated debates may happen sometimes. Still there are certain things. In principle, I like to give to others the basic treatments I would like to be given. No, I am not always perfect at this. Who is? Just throwing this out there!
Also, when I mention "validate", validation can come in an unlimited number of ways. For example, sometimes validation can simply come in the form of a comment that shows that you're fallowing what the poster is trying to say, or that you are listening. It's not necessarily about always agreeing or buttering up the author of a post if that makes sense?
Speaking of ettiquite, and I'm not saying this applies to you Tom, let me make that clear okay.
While we're on the subject of ettiquite, I've observed too many times on this forum people either attempt to "steal the thunder" of someone's post, attempt to manipulate & general negativity (not as common...still happens occasionally), or veine askers of questions (*ask-holes) who the moment others come in to help you never hear another word from the poster of the question, and more.
No, this is not the behavior of most of the regular community members. No, I am not accusing anyone in particular here. It's worth mentioning though. I don't like that sort of behavior is what I'm saying. These are examples of behavior I frown upon. Some people simply lack empathy for others.
Again, I am not accusing you Tom and I'm not accusing anyone in particular of the examples of "bad forum ettiquite" mentioned above. It's worth a friendly reminder to everyone while we're on the subject.
As I see it, this kind of behavior is common enough that these things need to be "called-out" somewhere along the lines.
Also as an aside, a less obvious problem is "Death-By-A-Thousand-Yes's" - where only a relatively few posters or threads are validated "Yes's"....until most of the community has either lost interest or left for reasons including reasons discussed here and more, and none of these issues get addressed because frankly it's uncomfortable for most people to speak up (I would imagine). If anyone is curious what I mean by the expression, "Death-Of-A-Thousand-Yes's" let me clarify by putting it this way. If you're in a room of people, say 20 people to make up an imaginary example, if 3 of those people are telling you "yes" all the time, basically everything you want to hear going with the flow, and the rest of the room isn't talking, what's the problem? The problem is you don't know what the problem is because it doesn't look like there's a problem if no one speaks up. If people are only telling you "yes", you don't know what is not being said by those who don't speak up. That's the general idea as I understand it. It's an expression that I don't hear used very often. What is the worst problems? It's the problems you don't know about... Furthermore, in principle, the one's who always say 'yes' and always go with the flow don't really care. The people who will speak up and address issues truthfully, who will tell you 'no' if necessary are the ones who really care. That's the principle of "Death-By-A-Thousand-Yes's" as I understand it...in a nutshell.
The forum, as I imagine in my mind that I would like to be part of is one where active, positive, constructive, fun, and inclusive discussion happens. Discussion that is inviting, positive, and enjoyable for the general community. Discussion that is a win-win for those involved. The examples of "bad forum ettiquite" as mentioned above are a "no-win" for the forum and does not contribute to the sort of forum I would like to be part of.
Food for thought! That's my two cents.
Peace, Flame
