A nightmare for me- I'd have to buy a new computer!

I shamefully confess: I downloaded CotW when it was on sale one time. My PC meets the minimum requirements for the game, but trying to play it was painful. Constantly as slow- or worse- as when Picabeen lags, and the one time I heard a deer, the audio was some kind of metallic sound.

The topic of buying EM$ reminded me to do something I've been meaning to do for a while, and that is to buy 5000 EM$ to purchase a 12 month ammo subscription (which I did). While it's nothing compared to BCKidd, that brings my purchase history total to $418 (purchase history, not EM$ won in comps and events, etc.). That is way more than I've ever spent on a game, but I've certainly gotten my money's worth with the hours I've played (206d 16h 9m 20s according to my lifetime statistics).

I personally like to support the game by purchasing the 1 Month Unlimited Ammo Subscription and renew it after. I think this is a great way to support the game and I don't have to worry about running out of ammunition at all.

Great idea! In my opinion, theHunter classic game its self has not aged a day, though the branding has. Classic could use branding that is more consistent and unified with COTW to show the public that it is still relevant and good today as ever.

Post. I was thinking graphics as in the logo branding. Clearly what he really meant is EW should make a new Hunter Classic, ditch COTW, the new game be The Hunter Flames Big Adventure. It would look and have all the cool things I always wanted in a hunting game. It wouldn't be a gamers game like cotw. It would be a real game.

Yah as long as it doesn't have stupid things like "bait boats" (Who came up with that? I grew up fishing and never heard of such a thing existing in the real world.), and animals running around with white bands around their bodies screamig, "This is a first person shooter Neo. It's not real. You're in the Matrix. The animals are not real. Shoot them all to your hearts content as if this is Call Of Duty. You can always know there will be lots of 'action' every time you hunt in our Matrix nature world we created for you." You wonder if that game was created by people who actually hunt or enjoy the outdoors?

In all seriousness I can not support COTW as there is something about it that is difficult to put my finger on, a strange undercurrant about the game that unsettles me. Like it was reated for a completely different generation of people who don't actually know and love the outdoors. That's what unsettles me about COTW. The fancy graphics cannot makeup for the elephant in the room screaming in your face about the game. That's my 2 cents!
