Both of those players gave thier Discord names. For setting up and doing a drive, the ability to instantly chat or even verbally talk with the other players to coordinate it is far better than making a post on a forum then waiting for a response. There are players on Discord that very often post to see if there are any others interested in drives.

The Forum is a great place for reference, long discussions and history while Discord is a great place for quick questions and communication, looking for a hunting partner/party and for voice chat. Discord is now also much more available to many more users. Newer Classic players likely already have a Discord account, while conversely it is very difficult now to create an account -or even recover a lost password- in the Forum.
