Spice Things Up Round 1
* Harvest an airborne Turkey with a heart shot at more than 100m(approx. 328 ft).
* Harvest a charging Bison with a single shot under 5m (approx. 16 ft) with any ethical vertical bow. No Crossbows.
* Kill 3 Coyotes with one shot.

Spice Things Up Round 2
* Kill two Mallards with one shot
* Harvest an airborne Ptarmigan with any Crossbow Pistol. Any Ptarmigan will do.
* Harvest a fleeing Water Buffalo at 100% Harvest Value.

Spice Things Up Final Round
* Harvest the first unspooked Eurasian Lynx without any platforms.
* Harvest another unspooked Eurasian Lynx without any platforms in the same hunt.
* Harvest a third unspooked Eurasian Lynx without any platforms in the same hunt.

Kill 3 coyotes with one shot- WHAT! That is too spicy for my palate. I won't be doing that...

I have killed two coyotes a few times now, the third one only slightly bleeding. Been using the 10GA and it seems you need to shoot them from pretty far to get the necessary spread of the pellets.

I tried to hunt turkey on the fly from over 100 meters to the heart.
I only took one shot to the body and head.
It seems impossible to me to hit the heart as they escape.
It reminds me of the same thing with the bison a few years ago.

I lured it from an open field and when the turkey was about 90m away, I shot next to it with the .223 and then shot again aiming low at the flying bird. Hit the heart in the first attempt. Just the luck I needed, same luck I have been missing with all the failed coyote triple kill attempts.

I hope I don't regret spending all this time and then hit a wall in round 3.

Does anyone know, if the .17HV is strong enough to produce heart shots at this distance? Although I have both, I would prefer to use my .17 as it is higher leveled.

This approach sounds good to get at least a correct distance.

Any hint for the coyote as well? Which distance did you use? So far, I only had two doubles.

Further would be even better. Best is to shoot them from the side, from a treestand. They all need to stand next to each other. This can be done with the caller. Don't use the motion predator decoy or they will all stand far apart.
