Spending so many hours to get the .300 Muddy Girl just to realize I can not show it in the Gun Rack!!!
And it can not be used in missions!!!
Just another flop in this game!

Both of those issues sound like bugs and should be reported as such. There is probably only a handful of players out there that have actually earned the special .300 and .17 from the daily mission grinds which is likely why neither issue has been reported before.
They never intentionally make variations incapable of doing missions, it's a frequently occurring bug that they have been quite diligent in fixing over the last couple years every time a variation not completing a mission was reported. Make a bug report and include the mission the gun failed to complete and they will likely fix it soon. I don't know of too many weapons that they missed including in the lodge, but same deal. They wouldn't intentionally make it impossible to display. So just report that as a bug too.
