Z Z(pressing sunglasses keybind twice) in-game usage?
Hello hunters,
in the recent Xmas Special Stream, JaxyBeard was having trouble finding wounded reindeer. It was suggested to him to press "Z Z" twice(sunglassess effect). Why?? I use and understand sunglasses in-game, but I cannot figure out why clicking it twice...and it's driving me crazy . Thanks for help.

For me, pressing it twice just turns them on and off again.

I had a suspicion, but was never able to confirm that. Thanks a lot, ogruls!

Re: Z Z(pressing sunglasses keybind twice) in-game usage?
Pressing sunglasses once changes the setting and allows the dead animal highlight to be seen at a greater distance. pressing a second time returns the glasses to the original setting without cancelling the dead animal highlight distance. Clicking once is all that is required to highlight. After that you can change the setting as often as you like without changing the highlight. The main point of the second press would be to return to the setting you prefer for best hunting vision.
P.S. Pressing Z will only highlight the animal if it is already dead.

As discussion is already going on, one additional question for benefit of other readers - do you even have to have any sunglasses equipped in your inventory, to trigger the effect? For any new players that haven't bought any glasses, yet. (I don't have time to test myself for a next few days).
Thanks.
Thanks.
