You sure haven't been reading my posts or you wouldn't have said that. Nobody protects animals anymore than I do.Tod1d wrote:So does the deer!OldMtnMan wrote:However, I have a right for protection.
Do you think the deer is normal? Do you know what CWD is? You aren't concerned the deer could hurt children who are always on that trail?
I'm going to talk to the DOW this morning about the deer. I'll bet anything they tell me to put it down if seen again. Then call them so they can pick it up. Not the first time i've worked with them.

Re: Starting Over?
I went ahead and asked support to delete the OldMtnMan account. I'll start over. If I hunt the 1840 way for all my hunts. I won't have to buy much.
This should do it.
Caplock
Trapper outfit
Lots of round ball ammo
A few trapper tents to put around RFF to spawn to. Not ever FT to.
First aid in case a bear/moose gets the best of me.
That should do it. It won't cost much and if it's not in my inventory I won't have the temptation to use it.

Re: Starting Over?
I didn't need support. I removed it in Steam myself. I even uninstalled the game.
Now I can install the game fresh and open a new account and name. I have a new unused email. I need to think about what animal I want to focus on. I was think moose but i'm not sure. They might be harder if I do it 1840 style. Do they still charge? That will make it more fun because I need to get close with the caplock.

Re: Starting Over?
Wow Pete, I'm glad that you and Buddy are OK.
Following your journey with theHunter Classic has been both entertaining and exhausting at times. I don't know if you'll ever be happy playing Classic, because it's just a game, and it can't re-create real life. I don't see how deleting your account, trophy shots, or trophies that helped you figure out how you want to play the game will make you happier, but I hope a fresh start does the trick if that's what you decide to go with.
If you are setting up a fresh account don't forget to check out the Old School Hunter and Trapper Outfit Bundles to save some money on your 1840s gear.
