Yes, they swapped them when they made WT free to hunt. Wasn't down the road by the water in the tutorial? That was also updated.

Re: Go back to Whitehart Island
So it is WT, but where are you to shoot them in the first mission ?, or is it just harvest anywhere.HooCairs wrote:Yes, they swapped them when they made WT free to hunt. Wasn't down the road by the water in the tutorial? That was also updated.
The above statements are strictly my opinion, and should not be taken as fact, even if I believe them to be true.

It's harvest anywhere.

According to archive.org, there was a mule deer mission in May 2011 called "Starting out". Maybe that was that one mission by the lake?
http://web.archive.org/web/201105040611 ... e=Missions
That mission does not appear later in September of that year.
http://web.archive.org/web/201109251914 ... e=Missions
Don't know what happened there in between.

Re: Go back to Whitehart Island
Actually it wasn't by the lake but when you started the hunt it would tell you to follow the east road along the shore and it was a doe you would harvest. I looked at my missions and the description there isn't what actually was displayed on the screen at the time.HooCairs wrote:It's harvest anywhere.

Re: Go back to Whitehart Island
I remember doing this having no clue what so ever. Finally found the doe that was just standing there.
If this was for a mission, it should appear in my hunt history. If it was the tutorial, it won't. Going to check now...
Edit: Found this on my hunt history page 657...

One shot, one kill, no animal listed. They lost that data it seems. Oh well.

Re: Go back to Whitehart Island
doesn't seem the data is there that far back when I check. First kills shows 1 mule harvest and 2 elk on 4-21-09 and that was the second hunt listed. The first hunt was 4-9-09 but it was before that.

Re: Go back to Whitehart Island
Im pretty certain that shooting mules down by the waters edge along the shoreline road was one of the original Whitehart missions. I remember doing it.
Old hunters never die. They just sit around the campfires and tell the biggest lies.
