CSS farming to buy Ammo

Post by nachthexe »

Any suggestions which animal to "farm" to collect gm$ to buy ammo? I assume we should look for a species with high CSS and cheap ammo to hun to maximize profit.
Also at what point will the harvested GM$ been added to a players funds at the end of a hunt? Which would make sense?
I also assume a taxidermied animal will not generate any revenue?

Farm lynxes with the .243. ;)

Check here for which animals give you how much CSS:
https://thehunter.fandom.com/wiki/CSS#CSS_Values

Just sort the table by max CSS.

Now as for suggestions, we don't know yet the final cost of ammo. I would think birdshot against turkeys will be easiest. Up to 140 gm$ for a turkey, in average maybe 70. If a box a birdshot has the same price than a box of bullets, you will get more shots for the money too.

BUT - who says we need to farm animals? In Call of the Wild, I never felt like I needed to farm, yet was able to buy everything just nicely. Farming might only be relevant for the impatient.

Hopefully later today we will get all the info and the updated store prices. :)

I can see the ammo prices now and they are quite ok I think. I guess I was just a bit nervous.

HC I am a subscriber and saw it. Still would be nice to have an indication of how much gm$ was made in a hunt. I did a quick one but it has not been fully processed yet.

I think you should exit the game with alt+f4 to force the servers to update the statistics faster...

A recent study has shown that women who have gained weight tend to live longer than men who mention it.
