As Bob Dylan sang "Times they are a changin...."

I have several good reasons for playing
And one has just entered my head
If can't play theHunter while living
How the hell will you play when your dead

Cheers

Schlachtwolf
My opinion may not be right, but it is the one I like most :D

Here! Here!

I have been a proud member since I found the game.

I will continue to consider myself a member of this community... even after they pull the plug on the server.
I may be a noob... but I still have fun!
Trigger time = FUN!

It's kind of weird for me. I played this game off and on for 9 years as a "free" player. I wanted to support the game but due to issues in my life I was unable to. Yet I still needed my virtual hunting fix so I used my .243 and single shot shottie and hunted the free animals when I could and always loved the game. Then last year things changed and I was able to start playing much more and finally spending major money. I bought my first 1yr membership last June and it has been awesome! But tomorrow I get what I wished for during those previous 9 years, the ability to hunt all animals for free and being able to buy stuff with both $EM and$GM. Funny how sometimes you get what you ask for long after you quit asking for it. :) Anyway, thank you to all the members who kept this game alive for 10 years and I hope you all continue to play and enjoy this new phase of the game!

Playing off and on since 2010. My original forum profile https://forum.thehunter.com/memberlist. ... le&u=13071

Membership doesn't go away technically. As of tomorrow everyone will be a member without having to pay.

It is indeed g'dbye membership. But, the game remains, whether we like the new model or not, we can at least say it isn't g'dbye to the game. And that is a plus, it would have been a lot more devastating if t'morrow they were "switching the flip" on the servers. For now we can still play theHunter Classic, and that to me is most important. Some say the "forum" will likely be gone too, and that would be a harsh reality. So far though that ain't been mentioned. I think the forum will remain, and if it doesn't I bet someone will bring one to life, and maybe UHC would be the ones to do it. ;) Peace.

All this silence on the forum today reminds of like the calm before the storm. Is it just me? lol
