So I was getting pretty miffed that I couldn't find the goats I was shooting. I tracked one probably 2k and I know I hit it pretty good because I saw where the decal was. I was mad because I felt like I was doing something wrong. So I never did find that goat and on the next one I decided to break out the old .300 because that would definitely solve the problem. Yeah it didn't LOL When I saw this I started laughing. I think there's something wrong with the game and not with my hunting skills:
I'm just wondering if anyone else is having this issue. This goat would not die. After what should have been a heart/lung shot (that's where the decal was, but it said body on the tracks) with a .300, I kept shooting him with arrows, and the poor thing just kept looking piteously at me. And of course Doc sends me angry letters...
Poor pixel goat
PS, anyone know why my camera sucks? I see other people taking very nice pictures, but mine come out low-res. I don't know if it has something to do with the fact that I signed up for the game very early but haven't played until recently for a long time because I didn't have high speed internet? Thanks!

You didn´t have high speed internet so maybe the arrows/bullets are still on the way?

Regarding the goat: It's a bug, happens sometimes. But my avatar is not amused, I can tell you that.
Regarding the pictures: You're using the in-game camera which is crap. People that post HD pics are taking screenshots (e.g. with Steam or a third-party software) and upload them to an image hoster in order to post them here.

You have discovered the "invincibility" bug.
You are lucky.
The bug is not your fault, so feel no guilt in taking full advantage of it.
Keep shooting ammo, especially arrows, into the
poor animal to level up your rifle and bows.
Go back to a tent to restock ammo.
The animal does eventually die.
To have half your luck, making such a find!
