There is no need to carry more than one 10 pack. The deal is the 100 pack is cheaper. Simple solution is a bundle of ten (10) packs of ten (10) for the same price as the 100 pack. Problem solved.

It is , absolutely a personal choice , has how many you carry . I buy and carry 100 all the time and it doesn't limitate my backpack space at all .
It's all about the style you play and how you manage your gear . There is no right or wrong decisions , in how many you want to carry around .
