Never ending reinstalling full game loop.

Jumped on this AM to do a little hunting and got the update: installing full game message. OK, no big deal, until it keeps doing it after it says it is installed. 8 times so far.....

I ended up reinstalling from scratch after it kept looping.

WTH?!?! Why am I stuck in this downloading full install loop hell. I just started the third loop. Also awesome job EW communicating what this download is all about or if it's a technical malfunction that you are working on.

I gave up after 5th loop and had to kill the process through task manager. Guess I'm back playing through steam.That seems to be working.

Ditto for me as well. Finally just stopped the downloading (after 3 or 4 times) and gave up.

As soon as I read this, I thought...well you can imagine what I thought. Yep, the broken launcher works sometimes and other times it doesn't. I haven't read anywhere about an update, so somethin' must be awry. Not even "Steam" has an update cued- so like others have said- ***!!!! Peace.

Like BCKidd said: I just started Steam and it doesn't have an update. And why would there be one, we didn't have a GU today. So everyone who plays on both launchers should use Steam today and avoid using the "native", non-Steam launcher.
