IS new animal coming soon?

I noticed new "unknown"field in the signature, and new slot in the skill page - "animal - 48 - name" as well. Do we know which animal is coming to THC?

There may be- but I couldn't make a guess. I would however like to see something other than Fowl. Maybe a critter up in Big Horn country on TgT. That would be cool. Peace.

I will venture a guess that it is a new bird or rabbit for the all species pointer to hunt.

Highly doubt it, i think the new signature thing is just an issue due to the Pointer.

I honestly don't think EW would make such complicated things as a new dog and a new species at the same time

well, no one asked my opinion and it's a sure bet that will never happen - But I don't want quail- As small as fartigans are could you imagine how small quail would be? they'd be the size of those bugs on PB.
My only practical experience hunting with pointers is pheasant, quail and grouse. Besides those I wouldn't have any clue. We used beagles for rabbits exclusively, never heard of a pointer being used on bunnies. I would've scratched those off it's list myself, not close to any reality I know of but maybe somewhere????. Ruffed grouse in the woods, on the edge of fields would sit almost as tight as quail. I flushed a grouse once hunting alone that was so close I still swear I felt a wisp of air across my boots, scared the snot out of me - still tasted great . But they fly straight away fairly low to the ground so in my world it would be a natural.

So either that or it was a premature classification boo-boo

Exactly my guess, make sense to add another for the new dog and make a competition to boost sales, but if not a new little critter then i hope it be a big game animal.
