Do the animals re spawn while your hunting or do they spawn at the start of the game and thats it?

For each and every hunt, single player or multiplayer, all animals spawn 1 hour game time before you/the host spawns in.(thus the reason you can find 60 min tracks right after you start a hunt)

In other words, once any hunt is started, all animals are already spawned in, and no more animal spawning occurs thereafter. Happy hunting!

And if you happen to go to the next day in a hunt, new animals are re spawned and any dead animal you failed to find and harvest the previous day is erased.

Although they also spawn at the beginning of any game, reindeer and water fowl are not all on the map at the same time. They spawn into pool of available animals and migrate or fly in flocks periodically at random times and in random groups starting on one side of the reserve and exiting on the other side. Rinse and repeat.

As far as I know the animals are re-spawned on the second day, but they still have the same scores. But you shouldn't do this anyway because there is a bug that often makes it impossible to harvest dead animals on day 2. So NEVER EVER continue the hunt to the second day, start a new hunt instead!
