Hey guys/gals!
a few brief questions:
1. Do the rain, heavy wind, and shore waves cover movement noise?
I love hunting in the rain - I can sneak up on stuff!
2. Does looking at the map in your huntermate pause the game?
I have noticed that the clock seems to stop on the huntermate, but I wanna make sure. I don't wanna pause the game for a Bio and return to tracks all around me.
3. Has anyone ever suggested thunder and lightning during heavy rain storms?
I think the effects would be awesome.
4. Is there a way to link the trigger pull to a screenshot?
THAT would be awesome!
OK - that's it for now.
I'm sure I'll be asking more Noob questions as I play.
As always - thanks for lookin!

Re: List of Noob questions
1 - Yes;
2 - Yes in singleplayer, no in multiplayer;
3 - It exists on Peecabeen Bay already, but don't be enthusiastic about rain on this forum, if you want a tip;
4 - I guess you could make it so a third part software like FRAPS saves a screenshot every time you click the left mouse button, but that would be impractical, so if you really want to make it work, I'd change the fire button to another one. And if you meant it like "is there a setting in the game for it", then no, there isn't.

He could always create a poll to get the true pulse of the forum; "Would you like to see rain, heavy wind, thunder and lightning more often and louder in the game?"

Rain isn't that bad nowadays for the most of it, but it has a very high level of infamy because it was (and still can be) so freaking loud that you couldn't even talk over it.

Joking aside, I believe the general consensus would be that noise/weather hurts your efforts more than helps. But I admit, I do enjoy the very light rain, and the weather sounds they made for PB are immersive.

You can definitely use fraps to set up a shot cam.
I did a post about it several years back.
What you need to do though is set up a secondary fire button and use that when you want the hot cam pic.

Old hunters never die.They just sit around the campfires and tell the biggest lies.
