Coyote and Roe deer

Post by Nathan112244 »

Anyone know why the new weapons have been ethical for roe deer but not coyote?
First the .30 R O/U, then the 9.3x74R O/U and now the new .45 Copper ammo.
Roe deer get up to 35kg
Coyote get up to (roughly) 27kg

All the old weapons are ethical for both if its ethical for one and now the new guns are only ethical for roe deer not coyote when the weight/size difference is only 8kg

In the thread following today's update TK mentioned that he was going to look into the coyote for the .45 copper ammo. He thought that it was supposed to be the same permitted list as the .45 saboted. So check tomorrow maybe. :)

It beats me. As you probably already know. Worst thing is when new weapons are restricted, compared to the old ones, at both ends of the list (...caugh caugh .30R).

27 Different Species:
.300, 7mm, 9.3x62, 8x57 IS, 9.3x74R

25 Different Species:
7x64mm, .30-06 Round Nose, .30-06 Nosler Partition, .308

24 Different Species:
.30R, 7.62x54R SP, .303 British

Obviously the .30R is only good for prehistoric war.

30. R was the most annoying thing to me, not sure how a weapon could be too big for coyote but too small for bison when the 7mm is allowed for both

Weapon balance is completely out the window after the new rifle came out 9.3x74R O/U Break Action Rifle.
Looks like that's the only rifle you need now, any other rifle is pointless to own if the 9.3x74R O/U Break Action Rifle can do EVERYTHING except small game and Coyotes.
Now all you need to say to new players that ask what the best rifle is just say buy the 9.3x74R O/U Break Action Rifle and you're set.
