Re: Bull Elk Carcasses
That top one honestly looked a tiny bit bigger, i figured that without looking at the spoiler (belive it or not haha )
The 401 has some really long good tines, which makes up for the 3rd back tine missing. But i'm surprised the bottom one scored under 390, i would have guessed high 390s, sure it got deductions, but the frame and all the other long points looked like they would make up for that

Ok thanks Serge, at that time i used to find them a lot too, but they seem to have vanished now. I'm gonna do some more hunting on TGT before i report it, just to be sure.DYEUZ wrote: Kevin ... July of last year (2017) for the dark pic of the Bull. And the other is Sept 7th of last year .

Re: Bull Elk Carcasses
I used to see bulls and cows, half and half.
But now that you mention, lately it surely looks like there are only females.

Yes there were lots of complaints about all the high scoring bulls lying dead to wolves. I do believe that it was changed.Granti wrote:wasnt there an outcry about male elks used as carcasses cause of the fear that the game used the spawned bulls?

Re: Bull Elk Carcasses
I hunted a Grizzly yesterday & some Wolves, and all the carcasses I came across had been cows..............
You'd think with all those Elk carcasses laying around that a lot of Grizzlies would be feasting on them.
I hope they don't eat and get full before the spawn................
and I'm not talkin' about Salmon runs....
