Sunglasses Glitch?

Hey guys!
I'm pretty new to the forums but have been playing the game for over 4 years now and still love it!

Now onto my problem,
Yesterday I decided to buy a pair of the sunglasses because who dosen't want sunnies right? But after about 10 mins of playing with them i realised if i press "z" to toggle the "Shaded" effect on, When I aim either through a scope or on iron sights the camera screws up. I forgot to get a screenshot but it seemed to zoom in to about 2x and only show the top right quarter. I pressed "z" again and everything was fine :/

I tried restarting the game but nothing was different. Just wondering if this is a glitch in the new update and do the dev's know about it?

I too have experienced your problem, but my filter forces the view to focus in the "upper-left" quadrant of the screen. Refer to this bug post:

The screenshots are of the Winchester 1894 (.30-30) and the Colt 1911 (10mm). I have yet to see any action taken on the issue. Hope this information helps you

Thanks Dubitabilus! Now that I think of it you are right. Mine was also forced to the upper left quadrant!

I think it will be fixed in the next patch.
I think it would also be cool to see an animation of the character lifting up the sunglasses and putting them down. Might mention it on one of the other forums.

Have either of you tried clearing the game cache from the launcher? Before starting a game of course.

You have to set the "scope quality" to high in the options, this "fixes" the bug.
