”Earn em$” Offerwall – Your feedback

Post by Alena Rybik »

We're looking to optimize our offerwall, since it's been reported numerous times that some offers don't work while the others do. If you have tried the 'Earn em$' option, please share your experience in the replies, and namely: which offer providers have worked well for you and which ones not, please also mention the reason. Please also mention what kind of offers would you rather participate in.

Please note, that posts like ”they're all scam”, or ”they only install viruses on your PC” will not be of any help for us, so please try to post as constructive feedback as possible.

playing browsergames and watching videos from a german connection works fine. survey never pay out for me (they take my answers, but always say im not the targeted group  ). i never did any downloads, but it seems really dangerous (best possible outcome is probably getting junkware, worst case virus).
what is severely lacking is the support of the companies that offer the em$.

Feedback on my work as a moderator is always welcome!

downloads actually pay but like Killertut said its probably junkware or virus...so i use a junk laptop that has no real purpose anymore for those...if i even bother with them. Mostly i have tried mobile downloads for games i have not tried or were going to download anyway :1

I personally think only SponsorPay scams- all other sponsors work fine. My only desire is to no longer see SponsorPay in the Earn em$.

I hope you guys can find a nicer, survey free, sponsor for em$.

It seems to me very few of the surveys, sweepstakes, and questionnaires actually pay out.

The videos usually pay, and some of them you can watch more than once. Some just never pay, but I suspect no one appeals for 1 or 2 em$.

I have made 2 retail purchases from the offers & they both paid out. One was a SponsorPay - New Balance shoe offer. I don't remember the sponsor for the other.

I'm sure if the offers were more reliable & safe, many more people would use them.

Be Well
It's "Tod", with one bloody 'd'!

stay clear of this offer in supersonicADs, its called "download slot games" and it takes u to this site...

http://gumigum.com/slot/...=Global_gumigum_STT_Slots

it doesn't install the game and just infects ur pc. it even says at this site there is no spyware or malware which is a lie.

I will no longer use supersonicAds because not only do they have these fake offers but they don't pay once u go threw all the trouble of removing all the malware and fake software on ur pc. I had to restore my system to get rid of istart from my browser after I scanned and found 27 malware just from this one casino exe.

You might want to remove the hot link to the virus page from your post, if you don't want people to go to it ;-)
Thanks, ~Jeff

Here's my take on the whole thing: the issue isn't the amount awarded, it's the fact that most services end up harming the user. Not to mention that some may not even pay out the promised amount. The first thing that comes to mind when opening some of them - fishy. That's it. Hell, most people would call them fraudulent. In my opinion it hurts EW's and TheHunter's image that they're partnered/associated with such organizations. I'm actually surprised that the devs are letting this slide(hopefully this is the turning point). Either have it set up in a legitimate way or don't have it at all.

A good example of how bad it truly is - the reviews and the feedback on Steam. One of the key points there is that this "Earn em$" feature is nothing but another way of ruining your PC, risking your personal data, etc.

Having done tons of offers $em offer in the past here are a few things I notice and do:
1. I've had many offers from all the providers credit to my account, so they all do payout, just not 100% of the time.
2. If you can qualify for research surveys they always pay out in my experience and I've even done a survey that was like 550 $ems! I probably only qualified for 5% of the ones i've tried though.
3. Download offers (with potential adware and a bunch of junk) are hit and miss. I use a junk pc to do these on so I wont infect my computer. Usually you have to install everything they suggest during the install process since it makes it more likely they will credit. Works maybe 40% of the time.
4. Offers you pay for are most reliable, find good deals where you pay little to get a good payout ratio. Of course make sure you cancel your free trials before the end if that's the case.
5. Most "Free Stuff" surveys where you have to click through a million different Yes/No offer pages are not worth it and never work for me.

I don't think you will ever find offerwall providers that work 100% of the time. If you know how to do them you can get decent payout. Sometimes you will have to send a support ticket to the offer provider (not theHunter) to verify you completed the offer. Just don't install anything on your normal use computer and use a virtual machine or old pc that you don't care about.

Started out with SponserPay being the best. Then in May,they stopped U.S. offers.
Matomy suspended me for God knows why.
Trialpay isn't worth it since it is all $$ offers.
Radium doesn't work in the U.S.A.
Tokenads does not like to give rewards no matter how many screenshots you send in.
Super rewards is cool but they reduced the rewards on videos to .08 That is bad.
Supersonic is ok,but they still have those bad downloads on their pages.(They have videos every day.And they can be done until you get a timer next to them, usually have to wait 24hrs to do them again)

98% of the surveys boot me out after 15 mins of useless pages of dribble. So I don't get rewards due to not being the race or whatever they are looking for.
best survey offer is Pine Cone research. It's fun and they reward you promptly.

The BEST offer I know of is the Rewards TV.It's fun as hell, and it always rewards. In fact, I sometimes use it when I'm bored. You have to have watched tv programs the night before in order to gain points..

The worst offers are all those downloadable games from companies like Playfish and Playpickle. They carry the ever hating Whitesmoke, babylon, iminent, intuint, revknowledge malicous programs.Even if you UNCLICK them b4 the download, they are added, which in that case put their names in your registry to find and delete them. They carry tons of files with them.(Make sure you go thru your registry -> put regedit in your search box then click Find.Put in the name and it will give you all the files for that bad program until it is wiped out. Do the same for every one of these names above.)

Also lastly,Any offer with a BRAND name in the title such as McDonalds,Best Buy,Amazon ect.. will put you through numerous spam pages, even tell you to fill in your ship to address, and then direct you to either a DEAD END, or give you those gold platinum and silver pages where if you read their policy on the 1st page, they require you to PURCHASE 3 or more offers on each of those pages.
Sometimes you can get out of that by clicking back through all the pages, most of the time it's a complete waste of time. They steal name brands logos and use them without permission. I have contacted many of the name brands and they are trying to get the copyright infringement stopped.

Current balance Total spent(ALL OFFERS)
Em$ 571.00 Em$ 31871.00
Gm$ 763.00 Gm$ 19737.00

Sort of tells you how much I rely on the sponser wall.
