CHOSEN AS THE TIP OF THE WEEK
If a moose, bear, or hog starts being aggressive towards you, it may be about to charge. Try standing up and sprinting a few feet to one side, or another. I find that will spook them enough to flee. If they start charging at you, fire a shot. Even if you don't hit him, it can still spook them, and make them flee, mid charge.

General tip:
Always plan your moves. Take your time if you e.g. want to call in yotes! Search for a good place where you can call them in (maybe a whole or an opening). After that you should go to something like a little hill ,that is far away enough to make a good shot, where you are able to lay down while looking at the area you called them. When they are comming in, wait for all of them to get in a good position and wait until all of them are where you want them. You never know if the biggest is the last of the group! Never rush anything! The animals will stay in the area, they don't just despawn if you wait 5 minutes. Also, if you have called and the animals where in the rendering distance, not nervous, they will always come!
So my tip: Keep calm, plan your moves and NEVER rush anything! Then you will ALWAYS win and get your big trophy!

Tip #1, The less you expect, the more you will get.
Tip #2, When you are about to pull the trigger, remove any negative thoughts, (will it spook before it arrives, will it be a terrible body shot, will it even be a complete and utter miss ? ? ?)
Instead, take the mindset you are the one with the gun, you are the predator, you are the hunter, nothing will stop your focus, even if it bolts, you will be ready to take your kill.
Take that approach and reap the benefits!

Re: Tip of the week [NOMINATE]
Very useful tip when hunting with a friend: When you're bow hunting from a tree stand and your friend is in one nearby say 20-40 meters away, and you're both situated so that you form as close to a right angle as possible, and you have a big buck that won't turn broadside, do this: have your friend call the buck to them and nail the buck through the lungs! It works as long as you use scent killer. Use this on other animals that can be called.
