How to do the "gg" emote with an animal in multiplayer:
1) press m2
2) hold the spacebar
3) look into your animal's heart area (unless it's a bird)
4) press m1
5) type gg into the chat

50meters distance on your HM is the distance between the point inside the arrow (showing your location) and the tip of the arrow(which shows the direction you are facing)

If you hear a hog or bear attacking you, but you can't see them, shooting in the air can be a life saver, as more often than not, they will flee.

My tip would be for people who are just starting and they hunt a bison....Make sure you shoot them properly, tracking wounded bison is not fun.

My tip is Always make sure you load up your wepons by holding it in your hands Before taking the first step outside of camp. You don't want to find your weapon empty while you are charged by a grixxly bear!

Just turn "Auto reload" - On in the game client (Options-Gameplay)Wolftracker wrote:My tip is Always make sure you load up your wepons by holding it in your hands Before taking the first step outside of camp. You don't want to find your weapon empty while you are charged by a grixxly bear!

Reload doesn't help if they were never loaded to start with.RogerYar wrote:Just turn "Auto reload" - On in the game client (Options-Gameplay)Wolftracker wrote:My tip is Always make sure you load up your wepons by holding it in your hands Before taking the first step outside of camp. Re: Tip of the week [NOMINATE]
I think if you got auto-reload on and equip a weapon for the first time, it'll load it automatically. I'm not sure though, turned it off ages ago. It was a nuisance when using the Tenpoint or a muzzleloader. Once you're used to it, reloading manually feels much better imo.Deconstructed wrote:Reload doesn't help if they were never loaded to start with.RogerYar wrote:Just turn "Auto reload" - On in the game client (Options-Gameplay)Wolftracker wrote:My tip is Always make sure you load up your wepons by holding it in your hands Before taking the first step outside of camp.
