Beavers at RF

Wierd thing happend to day.

I had placed my treestand near my bear barrel, and when i walken towards the place to move both barrel and treestand to another place, a message from Doc popped up.
"beavers has cut down the tree you treestand was placed in. But doc did the effert to save you stand and put it in you lodge"
and sure enough the treestand wasn't there

so it is official beavers are on RF and Doc is now my best freind because he saved the Treestand.


btw has this happen to any one of you fellow hunters??

I believe this. It probably happens when the server forgets where you left your stand.

It happened to me as well. But with a tent and the message was a bit different. This can be confirmed by any of the devs. Shouldn't happen in a perfect "permanent" world, but it does. And they "solved" it with just giving you these "funny" but actually quite annoying messages when it happens...

Yes, it's true, it does happen for different reasons.

Just clever "flavour text", rather than saying "the client was unable to place your tree stand, it has been returned to your inventory".

I hope for a day when I can return the favour to those pesky beavers with a nice, hot bullet.
