Source for animal scores?

Postby Mattb85 » September 21st, 2022, 4:46 pm

I'm looking for a source to help me figure out if an animal I shot is high or low scoring.

For example, I killed a polar bear with a score of 29. I have no knowledge of polar bear scoring so I have no idea if this is a good bear or a small bear.

Is there a good online source for this game?

Thanks!

Yes, try this: https://forum.thehunter.com/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=62380 And a 29 scoring Polar Bear is a good one- they get up to 32. ;)

From the launcher page you can go to the leaderboards to see the biggest scores that have been harvested in the current season.

Yes, but if it's early in the season, it might be misleading.

There is a site that is in progress (although currently on hold) that includes a trophy checker. There may or may not be missing animal images, but the scoring is correct. :D

Just note that the max scores on here are a bit theoretical. Some can never be reached (e.g. Coyote) or can be exceeded (e.g. Eurasian Lynx).
