New Game Designer
Hi all,
Pucu has asked me to introduce myself, as I will very soon be the new game designer for theHunter Classic. Pucu (Francesco ) has been passing me as much knowledge as he can on this beautiful game, as he is soon moving to a new project, although we hope he'll have the time to stop by and say hello now and again. It's fantastic to be part of this community. So far I have been quietly stalkin... err... observing the forums and learning how everyone plays the game. It's time to come out of the shadows though and introduce myself properly to the community so here I am
I am originally from Southern Africa and spent as much of my life as possible outdoors. I trained animals, mostly horses, for hunting, the military, sports, and everyday life.
I've hunted in real life, on foot and on horseback, both with a gun and a bow. Until something called Keratoconus nearly blinded me, so I took to hunting fowl and other small animals with a slingshot (or we call it a Katty) and triangulating by sound. It's amazing what you can do when you have to, and I had the aid of an excellent hunter. Housecat/African Wildcat crossbreed (Sneaky Dark Miombo Woodlands camo)
I find theHunter particularly enjoyable for its realism, yet unlike in Africa, not everything wants you dead. It's quite relaxing really.
I know a lot of you have been playing Classic for years and I'm really looking forward to working with you to gather feedback, experience, and inspiration to make theHunter: Classic an even better game than it already is!

Hello Avery and welcome! I don't enjoy hearing that Pucu is moving on to another project. That's a big pair of shoes to wear for you, but I am confident you will manage.
You being from Southern Africa raise my hopes rise to soon see a new reserve in the game based on your home continent.

Welcome to the forum Avery!
Perhaps with your experience living and hunting in Africa, we can finally expect an African reserve eh?
