Re: Status Update - 23rd January 2019
The final Rusa Deer mission says
Kill two Rusa Deer at the same time with a single shot.
Has anyone been able to complete this?
@EW: Have you or any testers successfully tested this?
I am asking because Rusa don't work exactly the same as Whitetails for example. Shooting two WT with buckshot from the front is pretty easy. If two come at the same time to a call, they will stand chest to chest and you can kill both at once. Rusa however have a big collision box around them and push each other away by just coming into half a meter. They cannot stand chest to chest, and this is really the only option that works after all my trying.
I fear this was put in place without anyone ever having done it, or with just lots of luck.

Cool thanks! That's a mighty long shot for buckshot!

Plus, it was just luck. That stag could have gone the other way just as easy. It sure did for me when I got in to the same position. Have shot dozens of "pairs" of Rusa. Hit both several times, but no joy. Another gimmick mission just to fill out 10 requirements.HooCairs wrote:Cool thanks! That's a mighty long shot for buckshot!
