How can Reaperis (current Nr. 1 in the Event) kill 20+ bears in under 20 minutes every attempt???

He even kill 6 bears in 1 Minute?

On Redfeather Falls are a lot of black bears in North West i know but jeez…

Can someone explain or give a tip to me?

RedDeer85 ... The time you see, is the time of harvest . Meaning when you click on the animal to collect him . So , one can leave a couple animals on the ground , dead , and them claim them . You will then see a very short amount of time in between each harvest . Do not mistaken that with time of shooting .

A good example are the Turkeys . Let's say you are in a TS and shoot 10 of them , all at different time during a 2h00 period . Then jump down TS and collect them . They will be all with really close time from each other , collecting / harvesting wise .

With properly placed bait barrels and quick travel you can kill quite a lot of black bears quickly. I'd say that's the way to go if you want to increase your skill at spotting, tracking and whatever weapon you're using(works especially good for weapons that can kill black bears even with poor shot placement at long distances, such as the .340 Weatherby and .45-70. And besides, bears don't run very fast after the sound of a shot. A fleeing bear is quite easy to kill, especially from a tower. Usually, if i'm in my favorite tower and there are enough bears around the bait site, i can usually get 4-6 of them before they run out of render distance).

This competition can be quite frustrating. Especially considering the fact that it might take some time and effort to get a decent shot opportunity at a Kangaroo that meet the requirements of the competition.

My first shot went like this:

.357 Magnum revolver - Check!

No scope - Check!

Distance over 13,37m - Check!(it was 49,33m)

One shot kill - Check!

Hit the skull - Not check! Instead i hit the head....


My second attempt did hit the skull, at 29,36m, so at least i've got the 20 000 Present$ for a competition entry.
I might give it a few more shots tomorrow after work.

It'll be interesting to see what challenges they'll throw at us during the coming weeks.

im not sure if the baiting system works as intended right now. i shot and harvested 11 bears in less than 1h on the same bait site. it seemed there was no penalty.

i didnt do a bug report beacause it was a single outing on rff for the mission. so i have no further details or proof.

... The questionable results here , where on a very short hunt and lots of Bears harvested .Awesome barrel spot or not . Seems a lot for that period of time i must agree .And there is no FT here . It's at same tower all the time .

Also settled for a 20+m Roo shot just to get the points. Good challenge though.
