TK in the USA

Post by TreeKiwi »

Hey all,

As of tomorrow for a week, both myself and Graham will be in San Jose for Twitchcon. If you are attending the event, keep an eye out for us and make sure you come and introduce yourselves!

The Status Update is already written and ready to go live tomorrow, Halloween is looking so damn good and I hope you all have fun with it. I will try and take lots of pictures for everyone to see :)

See you all next week and if you need any help the team will be keeping an eye out and of course support is still contactable!

Looking forward to seeing the pics. If I were closer, I'd drop by and see ya.
Have fun while you're there. ;)

Too bad.............................................
A whole week in San Jose.....
If you get a day head East early in the morning to the Sierra Nevada's mountain range national forests & parks and you can get some spectacular views there and photos,
That could be a days business trip for EW that you guys will never forget.............. ;)

I'm still ready for the Halloween Event,.. but today I got work to do.........

Have a good trip Matt & Graham.

If you got some free time be sure to check out the Winchester house! It really is pretty cool & only takes a couple hours to do the tour. I went to Frisco 4yrs ago to attend a wedding & made a side trip there. I thought it was pretty interesting.

The Tree and the G on a plane
Most thought they must be insane
For the US today
And tis fair I would say
Is somewhere that many won't stray

But where they go now there is fun
PC games, the drink and some sun
While they sleep doubled bunked
And the food can't be "Trumped"
No the beds not a bunk, it's just one !!!

But what tales they both have to share
About things they have done, but take care
For behind all the laughter
It's this games everafter
And it's magic they both must declare
My opinion may not be right, but it is the one I like most :D

Trivia: Most people think the three largest cities in California are Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco, in that order. Not true, the third largest city in California is a suburb of San Francisco, San Jose. San Jose residents will whine and say they aren't a suburb..maybe not now, but they sure started out that way.

Don't let the local people you meet give you the impression of what "Americans' are like- Those people will all be aliens- Trust me, they're aliens (insert Giorgio Tsoukalos gif here). I have a friend who lives there, he calls them "granola brains" that want you to know it's important what they think of everything. Tip for ya, agree with whatever it is they think or they will think you are strange.
