Will the Silverbolts also be usable for normal Crossbows or only with the new addition ?

As far I understand the The Crossbow Pistol(standard skin) can't shoot silver bolts only standard bolts

so we can use only the The Crossbow Pistol with(Wolfsbane skin unlocked in competition) for werewolf. Usually event competitions rewards are given after the event is finished, won't that be to late to use it for werewolf?

They are not saying anything about the old .308 being able to take silver bullets, we have to wait and see.

So to acquire the new Wolfsbane Crossbow Pistol and a pack of Silver Bolts you have to place in the Hallloween competition, but if you buy the additional standard skin Crossbow Pistol
you will not be able to use Silver Bolts with it during the Halloween Event even if you buy additional Silver Bolts?

The Crossbow Pistol will also have an additional standard skin, that can be purchased in the store. Unlike the Wolfsbane skin, this version will take standard ammunition rather than the Silver Bolts used for hunting the Werewolf.
Additional Silver Bullets/Bolts will need to be purchased/acquired.

Hi all!

Just to clarify a little. In order to hunt the werewolf you WILL need the special equipment from either the missions or placing in the competition (so not just a case of using silver bullets in a standard .308, and it wont be possible to use silver bolts in the standard pistol crossbow). The mission pack itself has been designed to be fun/challenging but at the same time wont take you a crazy amount of time, perhaps 6-8 hours all said and done. The event will run a longer this year as well, so you'll get plenty of opportunity to complete the missions and get some werewolf hunts in by the time it wraps-up.

Of course, we are still in-development so things may change (a possibility is we make the .308 pistol the competition prize and the crossbow pistol the mission reward), but otherwise the core way of doing things as mentioned above should apply!

sounds great fun. i would clear up what is needed to hunt the werewolf free , paid. even better. had to read it a couple of times to even get how this is being done.

Wouldn't mind being able to get both weapons to use on the werewolf. I probably won't have as much time to try and place in the top spots in order to win the pistol. Can't wait to see the extra touches you've made to this year's event.
